• LANSW State Race Walk Championships 

Race Walks events for 9 to 17s will be held in the afternoon, starting at 1pm. 

• 9/10 Boys & Girls 1.2km

• 11/12 Boys & Girls 1.5km

• 13/14 Boys & Girls 2km

• 15/17 Boys & Girls 3km

Note: This event is open to all athletes registered for the 2025/6. There is no qualification process, registration is by direct individual entry. If there are 3 athletes in an age group competing for Balmain, they will automatically be considered a team and eligible for a team medal. 

• ANSW Short Walks Championship 

• 10s and 12s 1km

• 14s 2km 

• 16s and 17s 3km

Uniform: Balmain athletics competition singlet or crop top with black shorts or tights must be worn. Athletics NSW events will issue event Bib numbers. For LANSW events, your 2025/26 registration number, age/Coles patch must be displayed.
